I was born and raised in San Francisco and have spent many years watercolor painting. Hiking in the United States, Europe, New Zealand, Japan, Africa and Asia has inspired me and informed my life.  I enjoy painting en Plein Air as much as possible and painting in my studio.


November 13, 2021 – Cataract on Mt. Tam won first place in the Adult Art Professionals River Otter Ecology Project’s Splash Art Contest.

November 11 – December 6, 2021 – Member Show at Coastal Arts League.

March 18 – April 25, 2021 – Painting Show 2021.  “Mission District Mural” won an Honorable Mention. Coastal Arts League accepted “Mission District Mural, Vallemar Bluffs and La Bahia, Santa Cruz”.

March 1-31, 2021 – Spring Into Art (Virtual) Exhibit. CWA accepted “Bolinas Lagoon from Willow Camp Trail, Mt. Tamalpais” for a juried exhibit and sale at the Corte Madera Recreation Center.

2020 – 2021 – Leader of Marin & Sonoma Plein Air Meet-up Group (200+ members);

11/2020 – Coastal Arts League accepted “Pillar Point Sail Boats” for their November exhibit;

6/2019 – Palo Alto Art League accepted “Mist Trail Falls” into their watercolor exhibit;

8/2015 – Artists in Action, presented by downtown San Rafael and Marin Open Studios.  “San Rafael Mission” received an Honorable Mention;

8/2015 – Underground Gallery accepted “San Rafael Mission” for the en Plein Air artists who participated in paint out;

2002 – Exhibited art at the new gift shop at the San Francisco Zoo;

6/1997; 6/1998; 6/1999; 6/2000 and 6/2002 – Youth in Arts’ San Rafael Street Art Fair.  I participated in the popular annual pastel Streetfair and completed 4‘ x 6‘ pastel paintings during each of the two day events.
